About MyCirCall
MyCirCall is a small UK company with one job: making sure an important call reaches someone who can answer it.
Why it exists
"If I cannot answer an important call, give that call to the people I trust most so somebody has the opportunity to answer it."
That sentence is the whole idea. Schools, care homes, GP surgeries and hospitals ring one number. If that phone is in a meeting, on a train or charging in the hall, the call goes nowhere. MyCirCall gives them one number that rings the people who'd want to know.
What MyCirCall is
MyCirCall is a UK call-routing service run by Eridan One Ltd. Subscribers get a dedicated UK mobile number, starting 07, to give to the people and places whose calls matter. When it's called, the subscriber's own mobile and the phones of up to five people they trust, depending on plan, ring at the same time, and whoever presses 5 first takes the call. The people in a CirCall need no app or account. MyCirCall is not an emergency service: in an emergency, always call 999 or 112.
What it isn't
- Not a phone service for everyday calls. You can't make calls from it, and weeks can pass without a call. That's normal.
- Not a business line. It's built for households, families and carers, not offices, switchboards or call centres.
- Not an emergency service. It can't be used to call 999 or 112, and it doesn't alert anyone on its own.
How we work
- Reliability first. The day a call comes is the only day that matters, so that's what we build for.
- Simple to set up, then left alone. Someone who sets it up once and never needs to touch it again is exactly who we built it for.
- Nobody joins by accident. Everyone in a CirCall accepts with a PIN the account holder gives them, and can leave whenever they like.
- We don't record calls. The only recording is a voicemail a caller chooses to leave on Peace of Mind, which we email to the account holder and don't keep.
