Can two phones ring from one number in the UK?

The short answer: Not by sharing a SIM: a UK mobile number belongs to one SIM. Your own devices can ring together, and you can divert calls to one other number. To make several different people's phones ring at once from one number, you need a service that rings them all, such as a business phone system or MyCirCall.
Your own devices
If you mean your own phone and your own tablet or computer, that's built in. An iPhone can pass its calls to your iPad or Mac (Apple calls it Calls on Other Devices), as long as they're signed in to the same Apple Account; away from the iPhone, it needs your network to support Wi-Fi calling. Some networks offer something similar for a smartwatch. These only ring your own devices, though, not someone else's phone.
Call divert: one other number
Every UK mobile can divert calls to another number. On Vodafone, for example, **21* followed by the number and # diverts all calls, **61* diverts the ones you don't answer, **62* the ones that come when your phone is off, and **67* the ones that come when you're busy. ##002# cancels them all.
Each divert goes to one number. So a divert can pass a call on, but it can't make two people's phones ring at the same time. Check with your network whether diverted calls cost extra.
Business ring groups
Business phone systems can ring several numbers at once from one number, often called a ring group or hunt group. They're built for offices and call teams: you'd normally need a business account, an app or control panel, and to set up who rings and when. One thing to watch with any system that rings mobiles: if someone's phone is off, their voicemail can pick up the call, and the caller is left talking to a recording.
A number that rings the people you trust
MyCirCall is made for families rather than businesses. You get one UK mobile number. When it's called, your phone and the phones of up to five people you trust ring at the same time. The first to answer and press 5 takes the call, and the others stop ringing. Pressing 5 is how MyCirCall knows a person has picked up, not a voicemail. The people in your CirCall need no app or account: they accept your invitation once.
Which to choose
- Your calls on your own tablet or computer: use your phone's built-in settings.
- Your calls sent to one other person: call divert.
- A team at work: a business phone system.
- The school, GP or care home reaching whoever in the family is free: that's what MyCirCall is for.
MyCirCall is not an emergency service. In an emergency, always call 999 or 112.
