Is there a UK version of Verizon Family Line?

Last checked 17 October 2026. Written by MyCirCall.

The short answer: Not from a UK mobile network. Verizon Family Line is only for Verizon customers in the US, and when we checked on 17 October 2026 we found no UK network or other household service offering the same thing: in the UK, ringing several phones from one number is a business phone feature. MyCirCall, a UK service launching soon, is built to do this for households.

What Verizon Family Line does

Verizon Family Line is part of Verizon Family Plus, the paid version of Verizon's family app in the US. Verizon describes it as a shared, voice-only second line that up to five family phones can share. Calls to the shared number ring on all the chosen phones, and any of those phones can make calls from it too. Verizon gives you a new number for it, and it can carry up to three calls at once.

Verizon suggests it for calls from a child's school or doctor, so they can reach everyone on the line. Each phone needs the Verizon Family app and a Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.

Who can get it

Family Line is for Verizon customers. Verizon says every phone on it must be on the same Verizon wireless billing account, and that Verizon Family needs a standard monthly Verizon mobile account. Verizon's terms for the Family Plus perk are for legal residents of the 50 US states and D.C. So it isn't something a UK household can sign up for. We checked this on 17 October 2026.

StatPhone and other US services

StatPhone is a US service that works in a similar way. It gives a family a dedicated number. When that number is called, the phones in its first group ring, and if nobody there answers, a backup group rings. The first person to pick up is connected and the other phones stop ringing. Family members don't need an app, and their phones show the StatPhone number rather than the caller's.

StatPhone says its numbers are US-based and can ring US mobiles and landlines, and that international numbers aren't currently supported. That was the position on 17 October 2026.

Ringaly, a smaller service that offered a family number which rang all the family's phones, and a version for schools, appears to have closed. When we checked on 17 October 2026, its web address led to a page offering the domain for sale.

What the UK networks offer

We searched the UK's main mobile networks (EE, O2, Vodafone, Three, Sky Mobile and giffgaff) for a feature that rings several people's phones when one number is called, and found none. The number-sharing features we did find are for one person's own devices:

  • Vodafone OneNumber shares the data, minutes and messages from your phone's plan with your smartwatch or tablet.
  • Three's Smartwatch Pairing Plan shares your plan's allowances between your phone and your smartwatch.

Both are for your own devices, not other people's phones. We also looked for a UK app or service that does this for households and found none open to customers on 17 October 2026.

What you can do in the UK instead

  • Call divert. UK networks let you divert, or forward, your calls to another number. It's one number at a time: you can send all calls on, in which case your own phone doesn't ring, or only when you're busy or don't answer. Either way, the call goes to one other phone, not to several at once.
  • Business ring groups. Business phone systems can ring a group of phones from one number. BT's Digital Voice for Business, for example, has hunt groups with a simultaneous setting: all the phones in the group ring at the same time and the first person to pick up answers. They are built for businesses: BT's hunt groups come with its Enhanced and Extra business packages, and each hunt group needs its own phone number.
  • A family group chat. A group chat is a good way to share news once someone has taken a call. It doesn't help the caller reach anyone in the first place: a school, a care home or a GP surgery rings a phone number, and that rings one phone.
  • Letting important calls through silent modes. On an iPhone, you can turn on Emergency Bypass for a saved contact, so sounds and vibrations from them come through even when your phone or notifications are silenced. On Android, Do Not Disturb and modes let you choose whose calls get through, and you can allow repeat callers, so a second call from the same person within 15 minutes comes through. Settings vary by phone. These make your own phone more likely to ring out loud, but they still ring only your phone.

Where MyCirCall fits

MyCirCall is a UK service from Eridan One Ltd in Gillingham, Kent, launching soon. You get one UK mobile number starting 07 to give to the people and places whose calls matter. When it's called, your mobile and the phones of the small circle of people you trust (your CirCall) ring at the same time, on any UK network, and the first to answer and press 5 takes the call. It rings the phones; it can't make anyone answer.

MyCirCall is not an emergency service. In an emergency, always call 999 or 112.
